Zinsser Primer 249933 Editorial Review
**** Customers have been overwhelmingly positive about the 1-2-3 Plus Water-Based Primer, with many highlighting its impressive stain-blocking capabilities and ease of use. Many users, including those accustomed to working with oil-based products, were pleasantly surprised at how effectively this water-based primer covered stubborn stains such as water marks, often achieving satisfactory results even with a single coat. Its smooth application and quick drying time have garnered praise, making it an excellent choice for both DIY enthusiasts and professional users alike. Several reviews reflect the primer's versatility, noting successful applications on various surfaces such as wood, metal, and even glass, enhancing paint adhesion in all cases. The convenience of water cleanup and mild odor compared to traditional oil-based primers also stand out as significant benefits, making it a safer and more pleasant option for indoor projects. However, customers reiterate the importance of proper surface preparation; failure to adequately clean or sand surfaces beforehand may hinder adhesion and performance. Some users also noted that while the primer provides excellent coverage, they recommend an additional step to ensure glossy surfaces are adequately prepared to avoid peeling. Despite these Considerations, many reviewers have chosen to make this primer their go-to solution, citing reliability and satisfaction across multiple projects. Overall, the reception of the 1-2-3 Plus Water-Based Primer speaks to its effectiveness and user-friendly application, establishing it firmly as a highly recommended choice for a variety of painting tasks. **
