Anthologies Editorial Review
Melody Mansfield's A Bug Collection is a collection of short stories that use insects as main characters. Mansfield's clever and meaningful writing has created a universe where bugs struggle with love and death, just like humans. Each story is written with such skill and beauty, that readers are transported to a world where these magical creatures are deeply emotional. From Old Dan the dung-beetle to Jocasta the mourning cloak butterfly, and Gregory the praying mantis, the bugs portrayed in these touching, funny, and violent stories stay with you, adding a treasure of insight into our own lives.
