Blu-ray BR61112381 Editorial Review
Shadow [Blu-ray] [1994] [US Import] presents a captivating blend of 1930s noir and action-adventure. Directed by Russell Mulcahy, this film features Alec Baldwin as the enigmatic Lamont Cranston, who possesses the unique ability to see into the hearts of men. The Blu-ray offers an enjoyable viewing experience with its 16:9 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio for immersive sound. While the film's plot may not delve deeply into character backgrounds, its retro aesthetic, featuring art-deco influences, combined with a catchy end song keeps it engaging for fans of campy thrillers. Moreover, the transfer quality is commendable, retaining the essence of the original film while providing a decent retrospective feature for enthusiasts.
