répondre: The label says it's formulated for horses age 15 and older. But I am sure that it can be used in younger horses without problems. My horse just turned 16, and because he raced for 5 years, he has arthritis. He also has a possible case of navicular (that is being investigated) as well as some back problems. He has done very well since he's been on the supplement. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive alternative to Cosequin for their horses that need extra joint support. -

répondre: Glucosamine HCL, MSM, Chondroitin sulfate and Yucca are key ingredients for healthy joint support. Ester C and Vitamin E as antioxidants. Pelleted with yeast culture and stabilized rice bran. I am unable to tell you the amounts of each ingredient but I can say this supplement has really helped my senior horse. Max was dragging his feet and seemed to ache with each step. I added this daily supplement to his regimen and within two weeks no more hoof dragging and he even has a little giddy-up back in his step, he is now 30 yrs old. I will continue Legacy supplement for him. -

Can this be fed to a cushings horse?
répondre: I feed this to a mare that is on the borderline of Cushings without issue. If your horse is on medication for Cusings I would recommend consulting your vet or the manufacturer to see if safe to administer. -

How big are the scoops? Mine didn't come with one.
répondre: Same size as the scoops that come in a coffee can. Dig deep. Sometimes it is buried in the product. Been using for over 2 years now, never got a container without a scoop. -
