It features an advanced noise-canceling microphone that eliminates background noise, ideal for busy office environments. This model allows you to connect with multiple devices, providing flexibility between laptop and mobile. Additionally, it has a long battery life, lasting up to 13 hours on a single charge, ensuring you stay connected throughout your workday. Whether you are on a conference call or need to take a quick call while multitasking, the Savi 7310-M has you covered.

Is the Poly Savi 7310-M compatible with other platforms besides Microsoft Teams?

Yes, the Poly Savi 7310-M is primarily designed for Microsoft Teams but is also compatible with other platforms that support DECT headsets. This includes popular software like Zoom, Skype, and other VoIP services. The versatility of the headset allows users to seamlessly transition between different communication tools, making it an excellent option for professionals who utilize various applications in their daily tasks. Whether you are in a virtual meeting or collaborating on a project, you can easily stay connected.

How does the wireless range of the Poly Savi 7310-M compare to other headsets?

The Poly Savi 7310-M boasts a wireless range of up to 590 feet (approximately 180 meters), which is superior to many standard Bluetooth headsets. This extensive range allows users to move freely around the office without losing connection to their calls or meetings. For example, if you need to step away for a moment or attend to a quick task, this headset will maintain connectivity, ensuring that professionals can remain engaged without being tethered to their desk.

Can I use the Poly Savi 7310-M for music and multimedia?

While the Poly Savi 7310-M is primarily designed for clear voice calls and software like Microsoft Teams, you can also use it for music and multimedia applications. The headset delivers decent audio quality, making it suitable for listening to music during breaks or while working. However, its main emphasis is on voice clarity, so while users can enjoy multimedia content, the experience may not match dedicated audio headphones designed for high-fidelity sound.

What are the noise-cancellation features of the Poly Savi 7310-M?

The Poly Savi 7310-M features advanced noise-canceling technology in its microphone, which filters out background sounds, ensuring your voice is heard clearly during calls. This is particularly beneficial in open office environments or other noisy settings. The clarity provided by the noise-canceling feature helps reduce distractions and improves communication, making it easier to focus on discussions. For professionals who frequently hold meetings in shared spaces, this headset is a vital asset.

How do I connect the Poly Savi 7310-M to my device?

Connecting the Poly Savi 7310-M to your device is straightforward. Simply plug the provided DECT adapter into your computer or other compatible device, then place the headset in pairing mode. The headset pairs automatically with the DECT base, allowing for a seamless connection. This process typically takes only a few moments, enabling users to quickly get started with their calls. For businesses that prioritize efficiency, the ease of setup means less downtime and more productivity.

What can I expect in terms of battery life and charging?

The Poly Savi 7310-M offers impressive battery life, allowing up to 13 hours of talk time on a full charge. This means professionals can engage in lengthy conference calls or back-to-back meetings without needing to recharge. The headset also features quick charging capabilities, providing several hours of use from just a short charging period. In scenarios where time is of the essence, this feature allows users to power up during breaks and maintain their productivity throughout the workday.

Is the Poly Savi 7310-M comfortable for all-day wear?

This comfort enhances user experience and promotes better focus during conversations.

Plantronics Computer Headsets 215202-01 Editorial Review

The Poly Savi 7310-M Ultra-Secure Wireless DECT Headset System, Microsoft Teams certified version, offers a reliable and secure wireless headset option for desk phones and PC softphones. It is not compatible with mobile phones. One of the standout features of this headset is its range. Users have reported that even when their computer is on the second floor and the headset is connected in the basement, the connection remains strong and stable. This makes it convenient for users to move around their homes or offices during calls. In terms of comfort, the headset is generally comfortable to wear. However, some users with larger heads have reported feeling a bit of discomfort after a few hours of use. The single-ear version of the headset may also not be ideal for listening to music. But overall, the comfort level is decent. Sound quality is excellent for calls, with no problems reported by people on the other end of the line. However, the headset may not deliver the best sound for music listening purposes. The mute function of the headset works well with Teams and Skype, although there have been a few instances where Teams did not recognize the mute button press. However, this issue can usually be resolved by clicking unmute in the Teams app. Battery life is impressive, with users reporting at least 4 to 5 hours of continuous use without any issues. There have been no complaints about the battery not lasting the advertised 13 hours. Overall, the Poly Savi 7310-M Ultra-Secure Wireless DECT Headset System is a reliable and secure option for those in need of a wireless headset. It may have some minor drawbacks, such as discomfort for larger heads and average sound quality for music, but its range, sound quality for calls, and battery life make it a worthy investment.
