The Fowler 52-435-000-0 Double Square with 4" Blade received mixed reviews from customers. Some customers found the square to be accurate out of the box and easy to read with an attractive paint on the stock end. One customer states it was a great alternative to both Starrett and PEC squares. However, another customer received a square that was not square and had to be checked against three other Starrett squares. A minor con was that the stock was a bit "gritty," but it was easily cured with oil. Overall, at a price of $26.00, customers found the Fowler square to be a real bargain.
