Format: DVD Romance Editorial Review
"Down Home Christmas" is a collection of five wholesome Christmas movies that are perfect for the holiday season. These movies are a great way to unwind and get into the Christmas spirit with the whole family. The movies are well made, and the DVD works perfectly. The acting and dialogue are impressive, with some little gems hiding in there that are amusing and meaningful. The films' storylines are solid and uphold the traditional values attached to the celebration of Christmas, including the reason behind celebrating Christmas - Jesus Christ. However, one of the movies in the set, "Wish Upon a Christmas," was missing the last few chapters, which was frustrating for the viewer. Still, the other movies in the set went well, with no issues to talk about. Overall, "Down Home Christmas" is an excellent collection of movies that perfectly captures the essence of Christmas.
