répondre: The Gerbing 12V Battery Harness with Fuses is designed to connect your heated clothing or accessories directly to your vehicle's battery. This enables efficient and safe power supply for your heated gear during outdoor activities like motorcycling, snowmobiling, or camping in cold weather. The harness includes fuses to protect your gear from electrical surges, ensuring a reliable performance. It is particularly useful for those who spend extended periods outdoors and need consistent warmth. -
question:
Is the Gerbing Battery Harness compatible with all heated clothing?
répondre: Yes, the Gerbing 12V Battery Harness is compatible with most heated clothing brands that operate on a 12V system. To confirm compatibility, check the battery voltage requirement of your heated clothing. This harness enhances versatility, allowing users to mix and match their heated gear with ease. -
question:
How is the installation process for the Gerbing Battery Harness?
répondre: Installing the Gerbing 12V Battery Harness is relatively straightforward. It requires connecting the harness to the positive and negative terminals of your vehicle's battery. Gerbing Batteries Editorial Review
This product is a battery harness made for Gerbing and other heated clothing. It has two round terminals that bolt to the top of the battery, and the red one is the positive/red terminal while the black goes to black. It's cord length is about 4 ft. long. It will work with Harley Davidson heated gloves because they have the same connection as Gerbing, which is a single pin. There's no information whether it comes with a weatherproof cap or not. However, it is compatible with the older version of the Gerbing heated system with a female single plug. If you're planning on buying Gerbing gear for both the driver and passenger, then you need one of these for each passenger or a Y splitter offered by Gerbing. The feedback shows that it is a good quality product and works well for most customers. However, some customers have received a faulty product or found the product to be visually unappealing. One customer bought this to install on their wife's bike or use it when she's with them to keep her warm. Another customer needed this harness when they bought their Gerbing vest because their original harness was bad.
