Horror Editorial Review

It Follows is a well-crafted and inventive horror film that balances scares with deeper meaning. The film follows Jamie, a young girl who becomes the carrier of a supernatural sexually transmitted disease after a sexual encounter. She must evade the relentless pursuit of a shuffling shade in order to survive. The movie is atmospheric and engaging, with a synth-heavy soundtrack that complements the tension. It is a great example of pop art that will scare and engage audiences, even those who are not typically fans of the horror genre.
