The item is made of sturdy material, which is easy to clean; however, it is not dishwasher safe. The utensil holder can accommodate 7-8 standard sized cooking utensils, which is perfect for smaller households. The holder is only available in one size, which is slightly disappointing. Furthermore, the white holder comes with a salt and pepper shaker set, whilst the mint and blue holders come without. The shakers can hold 2 cups of salt/pepper or 16 ounces. The lid on the salt and pepper shakers clicks into place, but the rubber gasket holding it in place can become slick when exposed to salt or pepper. This can cause the lid to slide off, ruining foods.
