Questions et réponses des clients

  • question: What are Independent Skateboard Trucks and Bushings Kit 144 Stage 11 Std?

répondre: The Independent Skateboard Trucks and Bushings Kit 144 Stage 11 Std is a premium skateboarding component designed for optimal performance and durability. Featuring a lightweight aluminum construction, these trucks offer excellent stability and maneuverability for various skating styles, including street and park. The accompanying Conical Medium 90a bushings provide the right balance of responsiveness and cushioning, enhancing overall ride quality. This kit is perfect for skaters looking to upgrade their setup for a smoother and more controlled experience.
  • question: What does the 144 Stage 11 designation mean?

répondre: The 144 Stage 11 designation refers to the specific width and design characteristics of the Independent trucks, tailored for skateboards. These trucks are 144mm wide, which is ideal for most skateboard decks ranging from 7.75" to 8.5" in width. The 'Stage 11' signifies the latest iteration of Independent's trusted truck technology, featuring improved geometry and optimized turning capabilities. This design is perfect for skaters who want precise turns and a reliable feel while performing tricks or cruising.
  • question: Why choose Conical Medium 90a bushings?

répondre: Conical Medium 90a bushings are preferred for their balance of flexibility and stability, making them ideal for both street and ramp skating. The conical shape allows for quicker turns while maintaining control, which enhances your overall performance. The 90a durometer provides just the right amount of hardness for responsive feedback without being too stiff, allowing skaters to execute tricks with confidence. Whether you’re performing ollies or carving through parks, these bushings support a dynamic riding experience.
  • question: How do I install the Independent trucks and bushings on my skateboard?

répondre: Installing Independent trucks and bushings is straightforward. First, remove the old trucks and their bushings from your skateboard deck. Align the baseplate of the new trucks with the pre-drilled holes on your deck and secure them using the provided hardware. Ensure that the bushings are appropriately placed in the truck’s hangers before tightening the kingpin nut to the desired tightness. It’s essential to check the truck's alignment and adjust as needed for optimal performance during rides.
  • question: What types of skateboards are compatible with the Independent 144 Stage 11 trucks?

répondre: The Independent 144 Stage 11 trucks are compatible with a wide range of skateboard decks, particularly those with widths ranging from 7.75" to 8.5". This makes them ideal for street, park, and all-around skateboarding. They provide an excellent fit for both beginner and advanced skaters who want to enhance their setup with reliable, high-performance truck options. Before purchase, always ensure that your skateboard deck falls within the recommended width range for optimal performance.
  • question: What color options are available for the Independent 144 Stage 11 trucks?

répondre: The Independent 144 Stage 11 trucks come in various color options, including classic silver, black, and vibrant hues like orange or green. This variety allows skaters to personalize their setup according to their style or preference. Colorful options not only enhance the aesthetic of your skateboard but also allow you to match them with your deck or grip tape for a cohesive look. Choose a color that resonates with your personality while enjoying the performance benefits of these trucks.
  • question: Can I use the Independent trucks with different hardness bushings?

répondre: Yes, you can use Independent trucks with different hardness bushings, depending on your skate style and preference. While the included Conical Medium 90a bushings provide a balanced feel, experimenting with softer or harder bushings can alter the responsiveness and stability of your ride. Softer bushings can offer more cushion and a smoother ride, while harder bushings provide greater stability during tricks. It's essential to try different hardness levels to find the setup that best suits your skating needs and preferences.
  • question: Are Independent trucks suitable for aggressive skating?

répondre: Independent trucks, particularly the 144 Stage 11 model, are versatile and can be utilized for aggressive skating. They feature a robust build designed to withstand the impact of tricks and jumps, providing the necessary support for skilled skaters. Their stability and responsiveness make them a great choice for performing grinds, flips, and other advanced maneuvers in skate parks or streets. If you are an aggressive skater looking for durability and performance, these trucks are an excellent option.
  • question: What are the maintenance tips for my Independent trucks?

répondre: Maintaining your Independent trucks involves regular checks and adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Periodically inspect the kingpin and axle nuts for tightness, making sure they are secure but not overly tight, as this can hinder performance. Clean the trucks with a cloth and lubricant to remove dirt and debris, ensuring smooth movement. Replacing worn bushings promptly also helps maintain responsiveness. Regular maintenance not only prolongs the lifespan of your trucks but also enhances your overall skating experience.
