Questions et réponses des clients
-
question:
What is the Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit?
répondre: The Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit is a vehicle enhancement product specifically designed to replace the factory air suspension system in select vehicles, including the 2011-2013 Hyundai Equus. This kit converts the air suspension into a traditional coil spring setup, which can enhance reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Additionally, the kit features a Suspension Light Disarm Module to ensure that dashboard warning lights do not activate after installation, maintaining a clean and functional interior dashboard experience. -
question:
How does the Strutmasters Conversion Kit improve vehicle performance?
répondre: This conversion kit can significantly enhance vehicle stability and handling by providing a firmer ride. Air suspension systems can be prone to leaks and failures, leading to inconsistent ride quality. By switching to a coil spring system, the Strutmasters kit offers a more predictable and comfortable driving experience. Customers frequently notice improved cornering and overall responsiveness, making it ideal for both daily driving and spirited performance scenarios. -
question:
Will this conversion kit affect my vehicle's ride height?
répondre: The Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit is designed to maintain similar ride height as the original air suspension, ensuring consistent ground clearance and vehicle dynamics. However, since the kit uses coil springs, some users might experience a slight difference. If you are looking to adjust the ride height later, the stability provided by coil springs allows for easy upgrades or modifications to your suspension setup without compromising overall performance. -
question:
Is installation of the Strutmasters kit challenging?
répondre: While the installation of the Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit requires moderate mechanical skills, it can be performed using standard hand tools. Detailed instructions are provided, guiding you through each step for a smooth conversion process. Many users opt to have a professional mechanic assist with the installation to ensure optimal results, especially if they are not familiar with suspension work. This way, the kit can be installed efficiently, ensuring reliable performance. -
question:
Will using this kit eliminate my air suspension issues?
répondre: Yes, the Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit effectively eliminates common issues associated with air suspension systems, such as leaks, compressor failures, and sensor malfunctions. By switching to a robust coil spring setup, you reduce the likelihood of ongoing repairs related to the air system. Users have reported increased reliability and decreased maintenance requirements, allowing you to focus more on driving and less on repairs. -
question:
What does the Suspension Light Disarm Module do?
répondre: The Suspension Light Disarm Module is a key feature of the Strutmasters kit designed to prevent dashboard warning lights from illuminating after the conversion. This module signals to your vehicle’s computer system that the air suspension has been disabled, ensuring that no error messages or alerts disrupt your driving experience. By including this module, Strutmasters enhances installation convenience, allowing users to enjoy a fully functional vehicle without worrying about false alerts. -
question:
Can the Strutmasters kit be installed on vehicles other than Hyundai Equus?
répondre: The Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit is specifically tailored for the 2011-2013 Hyundai Equus. While Strutmasters offers conversion kits for a range of different vehicles, it is important to select the correct model for your specific make and model to ensure proper fit and function. Installing a product not designed for your vehicle could lead to performance issues or damage, so always consult specifications before making a purchase. -
question:
What should I do if my air suspension warning light is on?
répondre: If your air suspension warning light is illuminated, it may indicate a problem with the air system, such as a leak or a malfunctioning component. Before considering the Strutmasters Conversion Kit, it's beneficial to diagnose the issue thoroughly. If the problem persists, customers have found that converting to the Strutmasters system not only resolves the warning light issue but also provides an upgraded solution to preventing future suspension-related problems. -
question:
How is the ride quality with the Strutmasters conversion kit compared to air suspension?
répondre: Many users report that the ride quality with the Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit is improved when compared to their former air suspension systems. While air suspension may offer adjustable comfort, coil springs offer a consistent and reliable ride without the unpredictability of air pressure fluctuations. Customers often appreciate the planted feel that the coil setup provides, leading to a more enjoyable driving experience on both highways and in urban environments. -

Strutmasters Air Suspension Kits EQ24FM Editorial Review
The Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit, specifically designed for the 2011-2013 Hyundai Equus, has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from customers. Buyers express significant dissatisfaction with the product's performance and quality, reporting that the kit is defective right from the manufacturer. Many customers have highlighted that they not only invested a Considerable amount—around $1500—into the kit itself, but they also incurred additional costs for new tires, alignments, and labor, only to discover that the product does not meet expectations or function properly. Users have pointed out that the suspension quality is severely lacking, mentioning that the car remains too low and offers little to no shock absorption after a short period of use. This has led to a driving experience fraught with discomfort, as bumps in the road are felt acutely, leading to frustration and regret over the purchase. Furthermore, there is a Consensus among reviewers that the company may not have invested adequately in research and development, as the product appears to be a rebranding of another model rather than a bespoke solution. Overall, the Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit has not delivered on its promise of improved handling and comfort for Hyundai Equus owners. The product's failures have resulted in a "migraine" of issues, according to user reviews, reducing customer confidence in both the product and the manufacturer's support. **
