Questions et réponses des clients

  • question: What are Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets used for?

répondre: Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets are designed to prolong the lifespan and efficiency of your shredder by reducing friction and preventing paper jams. Regular use helps maintain optimal performance by dispersing lubricant evenly on the machine's blades, which can accumulate debris over time. To use, simply feed a sheet into your shredder just like a piece of paper. This is especially beneficial in busy offices where high-volume shredding occurs, ensuring your equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • question: How often should I use Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets?

répondre: It is recommended to use Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets every time you empty your shredder bin or at least every 30-60 minutes of shredding. Proper maintenance through regular lubrication prevents build-up of dust and paper particles that can lead to operational issues. Establishing a routine based on your shredding frequency ensures that your equipment runs at peak performance, particularly for businesses that shred documents daily.
  • question: Are these lubricant sheets compatible with all shredders?

répondre: Yes, Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets are compatible with most types of shredders, regardless of brand. They are designed to fit seamlessly into any standard paper shredding process. However, it's always best to refer to your shredder's user manual for any specific lubrication recommendations. Whether for home or office use, these sheets provide a versatile solution to maintain various shredder models without compatibility concerns.
  • question: How do I apply the lubricant sheets to my shredder?

répondre: To apply the Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets, simply insert a sheet into your shredder as you would with regular paper. Run the shredder for a couple of seconds until the entire sheet is processed. This action allows the lubricating agent to coat the blades thoroughly. Incorporating this step into your shredding routine will ensure your machine remains efficient and reduces the likelihood of jams during use.
  • question: Do these sheets produce a mess when used?

répondre: No, Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets are designed to minimize mess during application. The lubricant is contained within the sheet, eliminating the risk of spills or excessive oil residue. When used correctly, they provide a clean and effective way to maintain your shredder. This feature is particularly advantageous in office environments that value cleanliness and efficiency, as no additional cleaning is required post-application.
  • question: What is the size of the Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets?

répondre: Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets measure 8.5 inches by 6 inches, making them a convenient size for most shredder specifications. This dimension allows for easy handling and effective lubrication. It's essential that the sheets are large enough to adequately coat the blades without overshooting, ensuring an actionable maintenance approach without any hassle, especially in commercial settings.
  • question: How many sheets are included in a carton?

répondre: A carton of Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets contains 48 sheets. This quantity is well-suited for both home and office use, providing extended maintenance support for your shredding needs. By having a generous supply of sheets, you can conveniently perform regular upkeep without the need for frequent re-purchasing, thus improving the long-term efficiency of your shredder.
  • question: Can I use oil instead of lubricant sheets for my shredder?

répondre: Using oil instead of Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets is not recommended as it can lead to excessive build-up and may damage the shredder's internal mechanisms. Oil tends to drip and create a mess, while lubricant sheets provide a controlled and appropriate application method. Sheets deliver just the right amount of lubrication effectively, ensuring your shredder stays in optimal condition and free of jams or malfunctions.
  • question: What benefits do I get from using Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets?

répondre: Using Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets offers numerous benefits including enhanced machine performance, reduced noise, and lower frequency of jams. These sheets work by smoothly coating the blades, allowing them to cut through paper efficiently and effortlessly. This results in smoother operation and noise reduction, especially useful in quiet office environments. Additionally, maintaining consistent lubrication helps extend the life of your shredder, ultimately saving on maintenance costs.
  • question: Where can I buy Staples Shredder Lubricant Sheets, 8.5-inch x 6-inch, 48/Carton (36395-CCVS) in Saint Pierre and Miquelon?
