**** The ignition switch lock cylinder assembly has garnered a largely positive reception from customers who appreciate its compatibility and functional efficiency, especially for older models of Volkswagen vehicles such as the Golf and Jetta. Many users have reported easy installation, with the assembly fitting seamlessly into their cars, restoring the ignition function to like-new conditions. This reliability is particularly valued by those who experienced stiff ignition switches prior to replacement, as they avoided the potential of being locked out and stranded. While the ignition segment has been praised for its straightforward plug-and-play design, the door lock cylinders have drawn mixed feedback. Some users faced compatibility issues, noting that the door cylinder did not match their models, especially in cases where manufacturing changes occurred over the years. Nevertheless, creative solutions, such as repurposing old lock cylinders or adjusting dimensions through grinding, were employed by several customers, demonstrating a level of resourcefulness when practical challenges arose. Despite these quirks, the overall sentiment is favorable, with numerous individuals recommending this product as a solid choice for those needing a reliable ignition switch replacement, particularly given the reasonable cost and the experience of functionality restored post-installation. **
