They give the impression of bass but often there is little deep bass and a lot of distortion. The OSD Nero DueVoce DualX8 subwoofer is different. There is real bass extension well below 40Hz and the built-in amplifier can power the subwoofer to high SPL levels of 107 dB with only 1% distortion. Adding this subwoofer to your sound bar will transform or sound system and allow you to hear the full frequency range that is on the soundtrack. The OSD Nero DueVoce Dual8X is also the perfect partner for small desk-top or book-shelf speakers. Placed under a desk or hidden away in a corner, your small speakers can sound huge, making them sound like the largest of floor-standing speakers. You get all the sound from a much smaller speaker system, one that takes up less space, looks good, and keeps everyone happy. Finally, if you are truly trying to keep your design space as clean and uncluttered as possible, you can install in-wall speakers and add this sub to create a ‘hidden’ sound system. Using our 2.1 amplifier to power the in-wall speakers and provide the signal for the subwoofer, the resulting system is almost invisible and yet sounds like a big system with amps and large speakers.
