Made in Italy with USA cow hides, these Nappa sides provide high yields and are commonly used for high end bags, upholstery, small leather goods, golf head covers, and more. Color: Gray Cut: Side Newbury Leathers Nappa Leather Specs: Grain Type: Full Grain Grain (Top): Smooth with moderate grain texture. Slightly distressed from the milling process. Grain Flesh (Back Side): Fine nap (provides two tone effect) Finish: Semi-Aniline Dye: Struct Through - (Color is dyed fully through the leather from top to bottom) Temper (Stiffness): Soft - Extremely flexible and pliable. No firmness. Type of Leather: Bovine (cow) Tannage: Chrome tanned Brands: Small brands may be visible on some sides. We ensure any brands are small and nominal to overall yield. Grade: TR (Tannery Run) - A/B/C grades Size: Average 25 sq. ft. Our Newbury Nappa Leather is a premium full-grain leather known for its ultra-soft texture and exceptional durability, featuring a subtle distressed grain achieved through a meticulous milling process. Sourced from USA cattle and tanned and finished in Italy, our Newbury Nappa Leather retains its natural character, offering superior breathability and a refined, luxurious feel in a variety of colors. The leather is produced at a 5 generation tannery in the mountains of Italy. They are a 'made-to-order' tannery, adhering to strict requirements from clients at leading accessory fashion houses, boot makers, and the like. The tannery is GOLD RATED and complies 100% with all USA and European environmental protection laws. All leather hides come from the USA, providing the tannery with the highest quality raw materials. As this Nappa is a full grain leather the sides are hand selected to ensure few quality defects such as bite marks, scratches, etc. These leathers are commonly used for premium leather goods such as bags, purses, shoes, purses, golf club covers, upholstery, and other small leather accessories.
