Razer Keyboards RZ03-05451000-R3W1 Editorial Review
**Editorial Review** The Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed gaming keyboard has garnered a strong following among gamers thanks to its mechanical switch performance, durable build, and customizable features. Users have praised its tactile green switches, which provide a satisfying clicky feedback, ideal for both gaming and typing—though some noted the noise level of the keys may be distracting in quiet settings. Build quality ranks high with an aluminium top plate and Doubleshot ABS keycaps that remain resilient through extensive use, evidencing durability over time. The keyboard's RGB lighting is vibrant and customization options are extensive, allowing users to create unique lighting effects through Razer's Synapse software, which many find user-friendly after a brief learning curve. While many have noted the BlackWidow is a substantial upgrade from non-mechanical keyboards, it's important to mention that users transitioning from membrane keyboards may need some time to adjust to the tactile feedback and noise level. The presence of extra media keys and a digital roller for easy volume control is an appreciated bonus, although some users reported these features going unused. Despite its strengths, there are a few points for improvement. The separate wrist rest may slide around on smooth surfaces like glass desks, and there's feedback regarding the battery life, which tends to drain quickly under heavy use. Users also expressed frustration over the basic battery indicator and the necessity to have Razer software running for full functionality, particularly for RGB customization. Overall, the Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed is a well-built gaming keyboard ideal for enthusiasts who appreciate mechanical switch feel and real-time customization, with only minor drawbacks in usability and battery management. **
